ABOUT P226M

P226M is a Special Education School in District 75 serving students with moderate to severe disabilities. We have 9 different, co-located school buildings (sites) in Manhattan.

The students at our school are 2.9 to 22 years of age. We provide education and services for students diagnosed with disabilities including:

​

• Autism

• Emotional disturbances

• Intellectual disabilities

• Language delays

• Hard of Hearing

​

All of our school sites feature classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, speech and language pathologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and counselors to provide IEP mandated services for each student.
